Goodwill Reopens Bridgeport and Hartford Career Centers

Bridgeport and Hartford Career Centers

Reduced capacity and other precautionary measures implemented for safety of
team members and clients

Bridgeport and Hartford, Conn. (June 1, 2020) -- Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut (GWNC) has announced the reopening dates for two of its Career Centers. GWNC’s Bridgeport Career Center will reopen on June 1st while the Hartford Career Center will reopen on June 8th. Both centers will be open Monday-Friday from 9a.m.-3p.m. and close for lunch from 12:30-1:30p.m.

In response to COVID-19, GWNC has implemented the following changes at its Career Centers:

· Career Center capacity is limited to five (5) clients per hour in Bridgeport and four (4) clients per hour in Hartford.

· Clients will be limited to 1hr in the Career Center and are encouraged to arrive at the top of the hour to receive the full hour of services.

· Clients are required to wear masks inside the Career Center and adhere to social distancing guidelines.

· Assistance with resumes and cover letters will only be available virtually until further notice. Individuals can book their virtual services by visiting our website.
