Now It's Easier Than Ever to Donate. Launches in September 2026

Bring Goodwill Directly to Your Home, Workplace, School, or Community Event.

Looking for a simple way to collect donations while supporting Goodwill's mission?

Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut will deliver a Mobile Donation Center directly to your location. Whether you're organizing a community cleanout, workplace giving campaign, school fundraiser, church drive, or neighborhood donation event, our mobile donation trailer makes collecting donations easy.

We'll deliver the trailer, you fill it, and we'll pick it up. Best of all, there's no cost to participate. We are currently piloting this new program in the following towns:   Bethel, Darien, Easton, Fairfield, Greenwich, Monroe, Norwalk, Shelton, New Canaan, Newtown, Stamford, Redding, Ridgefield, Sherman, Weston,  Westport, and Wilton.

How It Works

1. Request a Trailer

Complete our reservation form.

2. We Deliver

Goodwill will place a Mobile Donation Center at your approved location. The trailer is 7’ x 16’ and is parked on the street or a mutually agreed-upon space in your driveway or parking lot.

3. Fill It Up

Pack up the trailer with gently used clothing, household goods, books, toys, electronics, and other accepted donations.

4. We Pick It Up

Goodwill will retrieve the trailer and process the donations. Every donation helps fund job training, employment services, and support programs that empower Connecticut residents.

Can I choose my delivery/pickup dates?

Per the agreement, specific dates and times are scheduled between you and Goodwill after you sign the Hold Harmless Agreement — so you'll coordinate directly with Goodwill. We will do our best to meet your needs.

Who has to sign the Hold Harmless Agreement??

The person reserving the trailer (the "Indemnifier") signs electronically via DocuSign. That same person must also be the one present on-site at drop-off and pickup — you can't have someone else sign for you or stand in for you.

What if I can't be there at the scheduled date and time?

If you need to cancel or reschedule, please provide Goodwill with at least 48 hours' notice whenever possible. If you are unable to attend your appointment at the scheduled date and time, your reservation will be canceled.
