Goodwill Welcomes Four New Board Members
Bridgeport & Hartford, Conn. (August 14, 2025) – Goodwill of Western and Northern Connecticut (GWNC) today announced the appointment of four new board members. The expansion of the organization’s board, which plays a vital role in governance and stewardship of the organization, follows a 17-month period of significant growth for the nonprofit under the leadership of its Co-CEO’s.
The newest members of GWNC’s board, include:
- Eric Cowan, MBA, PMP, of Glastonbury, serves as AVP Engineering Centerwell Pharmacy for Humana and brings an extensive project management and organizational transformation background to the board.
- Derrick Garrett, of Easton, founder, Round House Multimedia, Inc. in Stamford, brings a wealth of entrepreneurial expertise to the board
- Mike Pellin, of Glastonbury, is an attorney and health insurance executive with both public and private sector experience, primarily handling regulatory, compliance, and corporate governance. He has been with Aetna, a division of CVS Health Inc., since 2018.
- Prudence Pitter, MBA, SPHR, GPHR, of Greenwich, is a sought-after international keynote speaker who currently serves as Head of Global HR at Amazon Web Services supporting businesses operating in 20+ countries.
