The Bag it up for Goodwill Challenge
Goodwill is partnering with elementary schools in our service territory to make a difference in local communities and the environment. April is Earth month, and one of the simplest ways anyone can contribute to making an impact on our planet is through reusing, recycling and repurposing items you no longer need.
Elementary schools in Goodwill’s service territory are challenged to donate the most items during the month of April (April 1- April 30). The school with the most items collected for the month wins $1,500 in AMEX gift cards. Use the winnings to support educational enrichment programs! Only donations made April 1, 2016 - April 30, 2016 count.
Goodwill is not responsible for any slips that are not received, are lost, or illegible. Management reserves the right to verify the number of items indicated by the donor on the submitted donation slip, to ensure accurate counts for this challenge
Total # of items donated for the entire month of April: 116,957
Congratulations to the Winners of the first Annual Bag it Up for Goodwill Challenge!!
Thank you to all 334 elementary schools who participated and their supporters who donated.
