Community Outreach
Goodwill is always looking for ways to meet the immediate needs of the communities we serve. Each year with the help of our generous donors, we are able to touch the lives of many individuals in need through the following programs:
Back to School Supplies
To help children start the school year off with the tools they need to succeed, Goodwill distributes 3,500 backpacks filled with new school supplies to elementary school students in our local communities.
Thanksgiving Baskets and Feast
With rising food insecurity, many families and children face the prospect of going to bed hungry on Thanksgiving. Thanks to your donations and volunteers, we are able to deliver ready-to-prepare feasts, including a turkey and all the trimmings, in holiday baskets to nearly 2,000 families. We also provide a hot Thanksgiving meal to many disabled adults who might otherwise have no place to go.

Children’s Holiday Party
A holiday without presents? Not if we can help it. Each year we sponsor a holiday party for children from families in need, with lunch, entertainment and a certain visitor from the North Pole bearing a sleigh full of presents.
